ADDITIONAL ITEMS

  • Please avoid rendering audio effects within the NLE, as that cannot be undone later. If including rendered effects for reference, please ensure that there is a raw copy of the clip in the timeline.

  • An organized timeline allows us to get to work faster. Please keep audio tracks orgainzed in this sequence, from first/top track (A1) down: VO, Dialog, Temp Sound Effects (mono), Temp Sound Effects (stereo), Music, Score.

  • Please make sure that your NLE audio preferences are set to display all tracks as mono. Multi-channel audio will not export properly to the AAF.

  • Video files for leader countdown with 2-pop, and for 2-second black with tail-pop, are available on request.

^Burned-In Time Code (BITC) should read project timeline timecode, and should be placed in the upper-right corner for fullscreen 16:9, or centered top or bottom in the black for letterboxed cinema widescreen. When superimposed over fullscreen video, timecode should be backed by an opaque, black box.
